Problem:
- Rebels destroyed much of Bumpe High School including the dining hall (largest gathering space) during their wartime occupation.
- This was kitchen, serving area for food preparation for campus
- The building also served as a main assembly area for campus
Solution:
- Repair and reconstruction of all damaged elements of the building was done by the Foundation
Impact:
- The space now serves entire local community as a gathering room.
- It has a stage where student performances take place.
- The building can be rented for weddings and other events, thereby providing funds that help to support the school (education).
